Cosmetic tattooing is semi-permanent makeup to enhance your natural features.
Here at Thread ‘In Shape we believe in keeping it as natural as possible. We work with you; we map and draw your shape before proceeding for the actual treatment. We will show you different colour blends and then choose the best option with you.
The immediate result will be 20-30% darker than the healed results. A perfecting touch up will be required at 4-8 weeks mark to complete your tattooing journey.
We want our clients to be very comfortable during the whole process, so we send you an email link once you are booked with us to order your numbing straight from our recommended compounding pharmacy. This numbing is medical grade so it will make you quite comfortable. Our clients usually fall asleep!!
At Thread ‘In Shape, we offer a latest, less abrasive, and longer lasting method called nano feathering instead of the traditional microblading. This is applied with a machine and a needle rather than a blade, to put it simply we draw or place the pigment in the skin rather than cut and apply pigment. This technique is great for sparse eyebrows. It can provide a fluffy, textured look to your brows.
This technique mimics the effect you achieve when you use a brow powder or pencil. It offers a ‘misty’ appearance as the pigment is applied using a cosmetic machine that covers the brow area from the inner brow through to the tail in an ombre effect. It adds depth, definition, and results in a more ‘make up’ look. When healed, you will enjoy a longer lasting, defined but soft powdered look. The tails of the ombre powder brows are darker, and as one moves to the front of the brow, it starts to fade, giving a three-dimensional look that only makeup can recreate. The colour will be bespoke blended to compliment your skin tone and hair colour to achieve a natural look. We can create a very soft, misty look or a very well-defined high-definition brow, depending on the client’s liking.
This is the ultimate brow treatment. It offers a combination of ‘powdered’ and ‘hair stroke’ effects combined together to achieve a beautifully natural, yet defined brow. The inner brow is feathered with strokes to mimic the natural brow hairs, while the tails are powdered done with a cosmetic machine to achieve the perfect fullness. Hair strokes can be also added around the outer line of the arch to soften the powdered tails. If you want the ultimate brow style then the ‘Combination Brow’ will suit you. One of our favourite techniques here at Thread ‘In Shape.
Lash line enhancement is the most natural looking eyeliner technique, it helps in creating a fuller looking lash line hence giving a look of more dense lashes.
Baby winged liner is a regular eyeliner which extends into a baby wing beyond the last lash to create a subtle winged eyeliner. No need to draw a winged liner everyday. Adding more thickness and elongating that wing with makeup will be less time consuming too.
The ultimate lip treatment with amazing results. Have permanently defined, symmetrical and luscious lips with a lip blush procedure which adds definition, shape, and colour to your lips. Ideal for naturally receding, pale or thin lips, or for those who want a permanently bold colour for extra pout. You can choose from a natural or more vibrant tones.
EYEBROW tattooing can last you anywhere from 1-3 years. At lot depends on how our body metabolizes the ink, the client’s lifestyle, the ink used and the technique opted. You might need a touch up at 1 year’s mark or in some cases it can be sooner or later. It tends to fade quicker for our oily skin clients.
Nano feathering is very delicate technique, so it does fade faster than an ombrè powder brow.
Eyeliner tattooing can last you 4-6 years, you might need a touch up in few years to have a colour boost as it tends to change colour over time into the hues of blue or green or just fades in general.
Lip Blush can last you anywhere from 3-5 years. You might need a touch up in few years depending how fast or slow the pigment metabolizes in your body.
